Ebony stain; McDermott stain is clearly superior to the synthetic stains generally used in the industry, and is notable for its uniform saturation of the wood and exacting consistency of color; The Black Opal sleeve is constructed of imported Italian Partek Thermoset Resin, which is also used in the construction of many of the finest guitars in the world; This cue features the exclusive McDermott Impact Control Ring, made from a Polymer Matrix Composite (developed by NASA), which maximizes feel; The design is complemented by a Genuine 100% Irish Linen wrap of black with white specks.
