Think you have what it takes to name The CheapShot Billiards logo? Here’s your chance to show the world your creative side. Plain and simple, we here at CheapShot Billiards love our logo. We think that he’s the man! Unfortunately, there’s something missing and we think he needs a name.

This is where you come in. Give our logo dude a name and you could win a Jim Murnak custom pool cue case valued around $600! 1. Rules. No purchase necessary. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final in all respects.

2. Entry. To enter, make up a name for the CheapShot logo. Enter the competition by submitting your completed online entry form (below) for the posted photo by midnight December 31, 2008, EST. You may enter the contest daily, but each entry must be original, of the entrant’s own creation. Entry must not have been entered in any other competition or violate the rights of other parties. Entry may not be offensive or defamatory, as determined by the judges.

Entries must include name, full address, email address, and phone number.

Entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain-name search; in the event of dispute, e-mail entries will be deemed submitted by the owner of the e-mail address from which the e-mail was sent. All submissions become the property of CheapShot Billiards with all rights to copy, edit, broadcast, publish, and use, in whole or in part, any name, including all concepts copyrighted or copyrightable, in any manner without further consideration (except where prohibited by law). Entries will not be returned.

Duplicates entries by different individuals will fall to further examination with the first entry being determined the winner, provided that the all necessary information is provided as stated in the contest rules.

3. Eligibility. You must be a legal resident of the U.S. or Canada aged 18 years or older. Employees of Cheap Shot Billiards and any other company/persons involved with this promotion, and all their immediate family and household members, are not eligible.

4. Selection of Winners. The winning selection is conducted by CheapShot Billiards employees, whose decisions are final. Winning entry will be selected based on their originality/creativity, humor, and appropriateness of subject matter to the the logo.

5. Award of Prize. One prize winner will be awarded a Jim Murnak custom pool cue case valued around $600.

No substitute prizes or cash will be awarded in lieu of the advertised prize, but CheapShot Billiards may substitute a prize of equivalent or greater value due to availability. Prize is not transferable. All taxes, interest, and penalties, if any, on prize are the winner’s sole responsibility. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received and the quality of the entry.

6. Notification and Claiming Prize. Entrant submitting the entry selected will be notified by e-mail at contest completion. Winner will also be announced on CheapshotBilliards.com. If a selected winner is unreachable or ineligible or otherwise fails to comply with these official rules, that selected winner forfeits the prize and another winner will be selected.

7. No Liability. By participating, each entrant (i) releases, indemnifies and agrees to hold harmless Inside POOL Magazine, and their parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, officers, directors, shareholders, and agents, including advertising agencies, from and against all claims, liability, injury, or damages relating to the sweepstakes, any entry, or any prize or use thereof, whether or not known or suspected by him/her to exist in his/her favor at the time of the sweepstakes; and (ii) agrees that these entities are in no way responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relating to any entry or to any prize.

CheapShot Billiards is not responsible for printing or input errors or for damaged, late, lost, illegible, incomplete, delayed, garbled, distorted, damaged, unintelligible, or misdirected entries; communications, software, hardware, or transmission failures of any kind regardless of cause; or any technical, human, or other error in the processing of entries. CheapShot Billiards is not liable for any injury or damages caused, whether directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from any participation in this sweepstakes. If in CheapShot Billiards’ opinion there is any suspected or actual electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the sweepstakes, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the sweepstakes, CheapShot Billiards reserves the right to terminate online entries in the sweepstakes, only accepting those legitimate entries received as of the termination date and subsequent mail entries.
